We had a wonderful stay at this fabulous cottage in one of Suffolk's nicest villages. The host went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and enjoyment, with comfortable beds, tasteful decor, and a thoughtful welcome hamper. The location was ideal, with easy access to the village's amenities and beautiful surroundings. The staff treated us with warmth and made sure everything was ready for our arrival.
Food for breakfast could have been improved with more variety.

The location of the cottage is superb, right in the heart of a picturesque village surrounded by charming pubs, tea houses, and grocery stores. Guests can easily walk to the Tanswell bakery across the road for a delightful breakfast. the interior of the cottage is tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and a thoughtful welcome hamper.
Limited roadside parking near the cottage can be a slight inconvenience, especially on weekends when the village is busy.

Our second stay at 3 Chestnut Terrace, Long Melford Villa was just as fabulous as the first. the host truly goes the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay, with quiet music, a stocked fridge, and treats waiting for us. the location is ideal, being in the center of the village with easy access to pubs, tea houses, and grocery stores. Street parking was never an issue. the cottage itself is perfect, with comfortable beds, tasteful decor, and a thoughtful welcome hamper. Our daughters joined us and loved it too. Cons: All was perfect! 👌.

I always choose this place for my stay. The staff helped me with restaurants. It suits me perfectly with Free Wi-Fi, Dryer, Electric kettle, Flat-screen TV. I'm coming back for a business trip.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was clean and cozy, and there was a lovely welcome grocery pack waiting for us. The host truly goes the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect, from the quiet music playing to the treats on the side. The location is fantastic, right in the center of the village with easy walking distance to pubs, tea houses, and grocery stores. Street parking was never a problem, and we always found a spot.
While we liked everything about the accommodation, it's worth noting that there is no parking available with the property. Roadside parking spaces can be limited and not near the accommodation, especially on weekends.

With so much to do on the doorstep and some amazing local attractions, our family had a fantastic visit. We highly recommend exploring Giffords Hall Vineyard for a delightful wine tasting experience, and Nowton Park is perfect for a fun day out with the kids. At 3 Chestnut Terrace, we enjoyed short breaks and luxurious holidays, with its cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home.
My children wanted a small play area in the cottage.
